Barnsley Then & Now

Following demolition and redevelopment, and during the 1960s and 1970s, much of Barnsley changed and some parts are now almost beyond recognition. Placing amazing archive images alongside beautiful modern photography and detailed captions, Brian Elliot explores what Barnsley has lost but also some of the positive new developments that have and are contributing to a New Barnsley – now promoted as a twenty-first century market town.
