We're very excited to present the Batsford Book Festival: Stitching for Wellbeing – a one-day book festival at the Museum of the Home, organised as part of @selvedgemagazine's London Textile Month.

This afternoon event brings together four leading textile artists and authors who will talk about their new books: Deena Beverly @deenabeverley, author of Playful Stitch, Jessie Cutts @cuttsandsons, author of Free-Form Quilts and Patchwork, Catherine-Marie Longtin @catherinemarielongtin, author of Log Cabin Quilt Blocks, and Claire Wellesley Smith @cwellesleysmith, author of Reflective Stitch, all published by Batsford in 2026.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A and a panel discussion with all the authors on what stitching and creativity means for them in terms of wellbeing and happiness.

Tickets are £25 and includes a light refreshment and £10 off a book purchase on the day. Book via Selvedge.org.
