What a party last night! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate @catherinemarielongtin’s book 'Log Cabin Quilt Blocks' and the opening of the accompanying exhibition at the @batsfordgallery.

The exhibition showcases all 100 blocks featured in the book together for the first time and is showing at the Batsford Gallery until 27 September. Open Thursday–Sunday 11am–6pm. There are also a few tickets left for Catherine's talk on Wednesday 23 September. Book via the @selvedgemagazine website.

🗺️ We're delighted to announce that ‘The Boroughs of London’ has been awarded WINNER of the @stanfordstravel Award for Print Mapping, as part of the British Cartographic Awards!

This annual award is open to any mapping in the printed form, and aims to celebrate cartographic excellence from around the world. This year's award winners were announced at the British Cartographic Society's annual conference on 9th September by Stanfords CEO Vivien Godfrey.

About the book, the judges said 'A very interesting atlas absolutely packed with information and lots of stunning maps. The minimised colour palette and vintage design style is very successful, and every page is inviting. The quality of the print and finished product is excellent, and this atlas has a wide-ranging appeal – from those with a casual interest in the city to real London enthusiasts!'
