Batsford is delighted to announce the creation of the Maker’s House. This brand new centre, located in Ramsgate’s Historic Quarter, is launching in spring 2026 and will offer a wide range of exciting courses in arts and crafts.

Join us for a creative weekend at beautiful Maker’s House in Ramsgate. An opportunity to slow down, learn from exceptional artists, and immerse yourself in making. Each workshop offers a supportive and inspiring environment, whether you’re experienced or just starting out.

All weekends are fully catered and include accommodation.

Our celebrated Batsford textile authors Jessie Cutts, Anne Kelly and Catherine-Marie Longtin will each lead an instructive and entertaining workshop designed for enthusiastic amateurs.
