MATERIALS
- Tape measure
- Florist wire
- Floral tape
- Myrtle wire
- Floral scissors
- Wire cutters
- Silk ribbon
FLOWERS/FOLIAGE
- Clove pink
- Great masterwort
- Pistacia
- Sea holly
HOW TO
1 Measure the head’s circumference; the wreath base should be approximately 4 cm (11/2 in) smaller for the crown to sit comfortably.

2 Join two lengths of florist wire together with floral tape. Pull the tape so that it gets tacky and wrap it around the wire.
3 When you get halfway, add another length of florist wire to make the base as long as your measurement from step 1.

4 If required, add more wire to make the wreath longer. Measure to check that it is long enough.
5 Make a loop at each end of the florist wire, then twist the end.

6 Attach the myrtle wire right underneath one of the loops.
7 Place pistacia and a softer flower over the loop to hide it, then secure by wrapping myrtle wire around the stem.

8 Continue placing material over the stems of previous flowers along the whole length of the wire.

9 At the other end, turn some of the flowers the other way and place them over the loop to hide it.
10 Cut the myrtle wire and secure it around the florist wire.

11 Insert a silk ribbon into both loops.
12 Tie the flower crown comfortably at the back of the head.
