Seven Batsford & Scala titles Shortlisted for the Architectural Book Awards 2024

We’re delighted to announce that four books from Batsford and three books from Scala Arts & Publishers have been shortlisted for the Architectural Book Awards organised by Booklaunch.

The Architectural Book Awards are intended to recognise excellence in books about architecture written in the English language.

Batsford’s Shortlisted Titles are:

Station by Christopher Beanland for the category of Shortlisted Monograph.

Sea Pools by Chris Romer-Lee for the category of Shortlisted Monograph.

Brutalist Britain by Elain Harwood for the category of Shortlisted Monograph.

100 20th-Century Shops by Twentieth Century Society for the category of Shortlisted Travelogue.

Scala’s Shortlisted titles are:

Cathedral Treasures of England and Wales by Janet Gough for the category of Shortlisted Monograph.

Handel Hendrix House by David Souden for the category of Shortlisted Travelogue.

Sydney Opera House by Peter Gibson and Sam Doust for the category of Shortlisted Travelogue.
